NTSC FRAME SYNC
The VDP-8410 is a 10-bit, four field video frame synchronizer which provides transparent signal processing in addition to stable, jitter free lock-up of noisy video signals. The four field memory may be used to store two frames or four fields for production purposes, or the VDP-8410 may be used to store one frame and remain in operation as a two field live video synchronizer. Stored images remain clear and sharp through the use of a digital comb filter. The super-fast locking time greatly reduces the length of “freeze-time” when hot switching between input sources. |
